Panopto MCP Server

Status: running (workshop POC)

A Remote Model Context Protocol server exposing a Panopto video library to AI assistants — content discovery, transcripts, and session metadata, governed by your existing Panopto permissions.

Data boundary: tool responses may include institutional video content and transcripts. Anything your AI assistant retrieves is shared with that assistant's provider. Access requires authentication and respects Panopto access controls; every request is audit-logged.

Connect (Claude Desktop)

Add to claude_desktop_config.json via the mcp-remote bridge, pointing at https://panoptomcpdemo.com/mcp with an Authorization: Bearer <token> header.
